Berry Springs

We keep finding these great little "out of the way" spots with plenty or nothing to do depending on what takes your fancy for the day. Here we found a terrific natural swimming hole, a fantastic Wildlife Reserve and plenty of day trips to scenic locations on the coast including visiting the wreck of a WWII US B24.

Col even tried fishing again. Result / Col Nil - Barramundi the winners again.

Darwin

Longer stay to take care of some housekeeping. Service for the van, some shopping, COVID jab, trip to the dentist for Col and some sightseeing. Both of us have been to Darwin before but what a nice city to visit again. Clean, all the amenities and huge wide streets everywhere.

Crocosaurus Cove - where for $160 you can be placed in a transparent tube and get up close and personal with a 6metre reptile that views you as a possible food source.

Litchfield National Park

What is the most essential piece of equipment for the "Top End" of the Northern Territory in the dry season?? 4x4? Shovel? First Aid Kit? Personal Locator Beacon? Satellite Phone? Well... while all of these things are very important the most vital accessory up here is the humble POOL NOODLE.
